Saving on space doesn't have to mean skimping on backup power or surge protection, thanks to the Smart-UPS Li-Ion Short-Depth 500VA, 120V Uninterruptible Power Supply with Network Management Card. Providing four NEMA 5-15R outlets, this UPS utilizes a 5-15P power connection and features single USB Type-A and serial RJ45 communication ports. Providing 400W or 500VA at 120V, this uninterruptible power supply incorporates integrated LED indicators to visually alert you of status changes. Audible alarms can also be used to monitor the status of the power supply, notifying you of changes to UPS and utility power conditions.

Featuring hot-swappable user-replaceable batteries, this Smart-UPS allows for easy switching when a battery is depleting, ensuring limited downtime. Cold-start capable, it can provide temporary battery power if utility power is lost. Furthermore, half of the receptacles belong to a single switched outlet group, facilitating discrete control over rebooting hung devices, sequenced power cycling, or load shedding. A preinstalled network card allows users to remotely control the UPS. This APC Smart-UPS unit features a short depth and a 1 RU form factor, allowing for easy installation in server racks.
